Jennifer Lopez Breaks Down During Concert

We haven't heard much from Jennifer Lopez regarding her July split from husband Marc Anthony, but the singer did open up a bit while performing over the weekend.
Lopez took the stage at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Saturday night, and though she wowed the crowd as usual, she let her emotions go for a moment while on stage.
"I'm going to sing you the last song I wrote about love," she told the crowd. "A lot has changed since then."
Lopez then broke out into her song "Until It Beats No More" while J.Lo lookalike dancers performed an homage to her past relationships, complete with Diddy, Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony lookalikes.
"A little trip down memory lane," she said after the song ended, tearing up on the stage as the crowd gave her a standing ovation.
But it wasn't all tears at Lopez's concert, which was in celebration of Mohegan Sun's 15th anniversary. "Glee" star Lea Michele caught the show and tweeted her excitement Saturday night.

Lea Michele

Omg Jennifer Lopez is seriously AMAZING. She just killed it!!!!! She's gorgeous and so beyond talented!!!
Lopez and Anthony announced their split in July after seven years of marriage, and the "American Idol" judge has recently been spotted out and about with Bradley Cooper.

Zombie Apocalypse Survival Rankings: Pop Stars

Source: MTV
In which we rank some of our favorite pop-culture mainstays on their ability to survive a zombie apocalypse. Because, why not?
Last week, we learned Deena would outlast her "Jersey Shore" cohorts in a zombie war. This week, as we eagerly await the next episodes of "Death Valley" and "The Walking Dead," we've ranked 12 pop megastars in their ability to fight back in a zombie war. Who would survive the longest between the likes of Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Beyoncé and Usher? When the undead are more ubiquitous than these stars' hit songs, they'll have to go from bludgeoning our eardrums to bludgeoning undead brains. Let's see how they'd fare.

12. Taylor Swift

Agility: 3/5--She looks fairly nimble, and her last name is Swift.

Strength: 0/5--A gust of zombie breath could knock her over.

Creativity: 3/5--She'll probably figure out an adorable attack method, like blinding zombies with glitter or something.
Willingness To Get Dirty: 0/5--C'mon, we've seen American Girl dolls that look less pristine.
Killer Instinct: 1/5--Zombies don't respond to eye-batting or feigned surprise.
Total: 7/25
Swift's wholesome twinkly-eyed shtick may be able to tear down some guys' emotional walls, but it won't stop the undead from voraciously tearing apart her porcelain flesh. She's the first to go.

Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Debut Twins

Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon and their six-month-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe
Back in May, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon welcomed their twins, Moroccan and Monroe, into the world. And months after their birth, the happy parents sat down with Barbara Walters on Friday for a "20/20" special, where they debuted their bundles of joy.
Nicknamed "Dem Babies," the twins were born via C-section on the couple's three-year wedding anniversary as Carey's track "Fantasy" played. However, the pregnancy itself wasn't much of a fantasy for the superstar. "I don't think I understood the enormity and the magnitude of what it really does to your body," she told Walters. "Carrying two babies. Unless somebody's been through it, it's difficult to understand what I went through, because my pregnancy was very unique in terms of what happened to me.
"I had serious back problems," she continued. "I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to walk properly again. It was a huge strain."

Rihanna Goes On $1,500 Sex Shop Shopping Spree

It sounds like Rihanna had a lot of fun in Paris last week.
The sexy singer reportedly visited a sex shop called Lovestore, picking up $1,500 worth of goods, reports the New York Post.
Talk about a woman who knows what she wants. In just five minutes Rihanna picked out toys, handcuffs, scented candles and lingerie, reports The Sun. And later she was spotted holding one of her purchases; a book by Ellen Von Unwerth that's full of graphic photos.
"She knew exactly what she was after and didn't want any assistance picking out items," a source told the paper. "There was no dithering. She was grinning from ear to ear and seemed to be in a hurry to get back to her hotel."
We can't blame Rihanna for being in a hurry, especially since she's rumored to be dating her "We Found Love" costar Dudley O'Shaugnessy. Rihanna and the British model/boxer put on quite a show in the video, drinking, doing drugs, having sex and vomiting ribbons. The "S&M" singer told The Sun that when she met her costar she was instantly attracted to him.
"I met him and I was like let's f**king kiss and... you know what I mean. We had to pretend how to fake f**k," she confessed.
With the goodies Rihanna loaded up on at the sex shop, it doesn't sound like rumored couple will be faking anything. Plus it's far from the first time Rihanna has visited a sex shop. In March, she went shopping at The Tool Shed in Sydney, Australia and while in Paris last May, she nabbed a vibrator at a store called Toys Me. In July, she and Drake were spotted at Wicked Wanda’s Adult Emporium in Ottawa, Canada.

More Than Puppy Love: Selena Gomez Adopts a Dog – with Justin Bieber!

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber squeezed in some very public displays of affection at a hockey game in Canada on Saturday night, but just one day earlier, they made a decidedly more private outing to a local animal shelter – and quietly adopted a dog.

Winnipeg animal rescue D'Arcy's A.R.C. got a surprise visit from the young lovebirds, who stopped by for some canine therapy.

"They spent a lot of time with the puppies," the rescue's chief executive officer, D'Arcy Johnston, tells PEOPLE. "I was told that [Gomez] was missing the dogs that she has at home."

"I wasn't expecting her to adopt a dog while she was on tour and has a busy schedule," Johnston says. Gomez went through the standard screening process and was able to leave with the puppy, which she named Baylor, that day.

"Baylor probably would have had a bad life or a very short life," Johnston says. "But he got rescued and brought to our shelter and is now going to live a very good life."

Nicki Minaj Cops Lil Wayne's Look For 'Y.U. Mad' Music Video, Sports Pink-Tipped Dreads

Yeah, we did a double take too—that's ACTUALLY Nicki Minaj, y'all. She ditched her typically skintight ensembles for a more tomboy look modeled after Lil Wayne himself. The two rappers shot the "Y.U. Mad" music video in Miami over the weekend, and Nicki sported blonde dreads with hot pink tips (in true Barbz fashion), a white tank, tons of diamond and platinum chains (including crosses just like Weezy!), a pair of loose camo shorts hanging low with her white boxers out (apparently Lil Wayne likes tighty-whities better, though. We don't judge), and THE Jeremy Scott X Adidas sneakers that Weezy famously wore first in public! Nicki posted a video in her Lil Wayne-inspired getup and completely transformed her bubbly personality into a chill character called "The Female Weezy." For the ENTIRE shoot, she acts like a female version of Lil Wayne by emulating his voice, personality, and style. It's kiinnddddd of REALLY amazing and hilarious, and her outfit and acting is SO on point. Um, someone give this girl an Oscar.

Robert Downey Jr. Shocker: We Need to Forgive Mel Gibson!

Talk about having an iron skin.

In a surprise move last night, Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. turned a gala in his honor into an effort to save Mel Gibson's career and bring the onetime A-Lister back into the Hollywood fold.

It all went down during the annual star-studded American Cinematheque tribute...

"Unless you are without sin—and if you are, you are in the wrong f---king industry—you should forgive him and let him work again," Downey said after Gibson presented him with the award before a packed ballroom at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

During his presentation, Gibson remembered being warned about hiring Downey for Air America in 1990 because of his troubled private life. Downey has always credited Gibson for being the first person in town who gave him a job during some of his years battling substance abuse.

Once he was accepting his honor, Downey spoke about that time, recalling that Gibson had told him to "help the next guy" once he was able to.

"It's reasonable to assume...he didn't imagine the next guy would be him," said Downey.

Gibson, who became notorious after arrest and his anti-Semitic rant, attracted skepticism most recently when it was announced that he's planning on directing a film about Judah Maccabee, the Jewish warrior who led the fight against the Seleucid Empire. Hanukkah marks the return of Jewish worship at a Jerusalem temple after he removed pagan statuary.

Jennifer Aniston, Jodie Foster, Jack Black, Jared Harris, directors Jon Favreau and Guy Ritchie, Jamie Foxx, Michael Douglas and CAA honcho Bryan Lourd were among the night's other presenters.

Nicki Minaj Talks Contemplating Suicide

She may come across as the cute and bubbly fast-talker with attitude for days, but Nicki Minaj's neon get-ups may have been the brightest part of some of her past darker days. Minaj revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine's November issue that at one point, she contemplated suicide.
"I kept having doors slammed in my face," Minaj told Cosmo (via The Urban Daily). I felt like nothing was working. I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I’d have to go home. It was just one dead end after another. At one point, I was, like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt. Like maybe I should just take my life?’"
But as we know, success did come for Minaj, allowing her to express herself through her music and cross of one more life dream off her check list -- to buy her mother a house.
Keep an eye out for Minaj's November issue of Cosmopolitan to read more about her difficult past and road to fame.

By OnTV Publisher
Jeggings, otherwise known as the lovechild of jeans and leggings, are a hybrid of denim and spandex loved by teenage girls, stick-thin fashionistas, and somewhat surprisingly, Lil' Wayne.

What 'Akpako' means? Terry G speaks!

The ginjah himself finally explains what the word 'akpako' from his hit single means, in this quick interview By OnTV Publisher
Most mis-understood artiste? I deliver what the street wants, I am not as worst as I portray ’cause I am an act just like the actors in the movies so tomorrow could be of a new change.

On Terry Gzuz? Is just an acclaim to show I belong to a christain firm not anything anti-christ like.

If I were doing strictly christian [gospel] song? I could had been this popular too, but doing secular is to represent the youth and I have no regret doing this but change is constant and inevitable

On Now Muziq controversies? I knew this would go this way ’cause I wasn’t getting what I wanted.

On other artiste’s beat usage: It’s my beat which you paid for and should remain my intellectual property in as much as I didn’t sing his song the way it was recorded and even other acts using that beat I can even sued that fellow performing featured acts song on stage-

On Now Musiq I felt cheated and they were just out to eat from my brand, we never signed any papers whilst the street wants me daily and I keep loosing while trying to keep at per with the corperate world.

On 1,500 naira per album price/sales? Yes, why should they change my brand for same reasons why I am known. Who would buy such? My same disciple?

How emotional is Terry G? I am a soft person, used to be in love but now no more.

Wedding Rumours? God is my witness o, I was at home when I saw the report, maybe they saw me at someone’s wedding and taught I was the one getting married.

On Love Child? I use to have a child, whom I use to be proud of but after 3 DNA’s I found out she wasn’t my child afterall, imagine after taking care of her for 3 years.

Any wedding plans? Of course, my mama 'dey' wait 4 me to hurry down the aisle but right now I have nobody.

On Endorsement? I suppose them Energy drinks ’cause I have the swagger to sell their products maybe they are scared coming close but they should remember I’m an act on stage and off stage, I am your next door neighbour, Gabriel Amanyi

Do you do drugs? No, I have never tasted Cocaine, 'Igbo' but I smoke and almost all Naija acts smoke.

Smoking for Inspiration? Nooo, Anybody who does that lacks the ginger.

Meaning of ‘Akpako’? It simply means finding a way to the bottom of wherever you are for you to gain promotion to the next level.

So True? So False? Did Shakira Dump Her Footballer Beau Over Infidelity?!

Attention all lovers, Latin or otherwise: Shakira may no longer be part of a double act.
Word spread throughout the Spanish media this morning—and soon after, the rest of the international press—that the Colombian singing sensation had, well, sensationally dumped her footballer boyfriend, FC Barcelona star Gerard Piqué.
Rumor has it that the pint-sized hot tamale discovered Piqué was playing off-sides, as it were, while on the road and red-flagged the scamp after learning of his wandering eye (and other limbs).
It's a juicy story, sure. But is it a true one? Make room in that penalty box, because this rumor is…

Angelina Jolie Tears Up at U.N. Awards, Says Refugees Taught Her to Be Better Mother

In an effort to continue doing it all, Angelina Jolie put on her humanitarian hat today as she honored a Yemeni aid group at the U.N. Refugee Agency Awards in Switzerland.
The mother of many had nothing but inspiring words to say about the Geneva-based agency and Yemen's Society for Humanitarian Solidarity, which won the agency's top annual award for helping thousands of Somali refugees and migrants who flee to Yemen in smuggler's boats across the Gulf of Aden.
Jolie was also recognized for her work as an U.N. Goodwill Ambassador for the past 10 years.

"The desperation fueled by a vicious combination of drought, famine and conflict has driven tens of thousands of people from the Horn of Africa. And we must not forget what is happening in this part of the world," Jolie said at the event.

"We must try to imagine how desperate these people must be, when their only alternative is to risk death at sea and put their lives in the hands of ruthless smugglers."

And if you think this whole international humanitarian thing is going to come to an end for Jolie, you're very wrong.

Being a part of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees staff since 2001, the star exclaims how she looks forward to being a part of the UNHCR for another 10 years.

"Most of all I'm so grateful—I don't want to cry—to the refugee families that I have the honor and privilege to spend the last years with," she said, "From them I've learned so much. I've learned to be a better person, a better mother. They've inspired me by showing me the unbreakable strength of the human spirit."

5 lessons learned from 18 years of marriage

by  Asha Dornfest -,

My husband, Rael, and I have just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. I’m pretty sentimental about a lot of things, but anniversaries aren’t one of them. Ours are usually simple occasions: maybe a card and a nice dinner out and a few jokes about buying matching walkers.

Somehow, this year felt different.

This year, I felt like we had scaled something…like we had survived something…like we had accomplished something. This year wasn’t just another 365 days gone by and “isn’t that nice,” it was a year to be grateful. A year to be proud.

This was the year my son regained his confidence and his smile. The year we lived the grand experiment of home schooling. The year my daughter grew strong. The year we “cleaned house” in many more ways than one.

So, in honor of our 18th year, I humbly offer five things I’ve learned so far about marriage.

A House Built in a Sand Dune

Above-ground houses: could there be anything that's more over?
Turns out those smiley Lennon-style glasses on that glassy knoll are the legit windows of a legit house, and said house was carved into a dune in Atlantic Beach, Fla. Built in 1975, Dune House is the brainchild of architect William Morgan, who didn't want any interlopers messing with the character of his block — to this day, he lives next door. "I'm very particular about the buildings on either side of my own home." he says.
"The property is original oceanfront dunes that are very beautiful, and we were very interested in preserving the ecological character of our environment as closely as we could," adds Morgan. "So we surveyed the existing property and then we designed a house that would then be a profile of the original site."
Shortly after Morgan completed the project—actually two symmetrical apartments connected by a main landing—it piqued the interest of Playboy magazine, who was in town to photograph Morgan's digs. They were so taken that they photographed Dune House, too.
You could probably hit the ocean with a 3-iron with practice.

Now listed for $1.2M, the property first hit the market at the tail beginning of 2009 when Morgan grew tired of renting it out. "I think it happened to coincide with the real estate downturn, the bursting of the bubble, so this particular kind of quality tends to suffer accordingly," he says. It was taken off the market this past November and was re-listed a couple months later for $1.4M.
When it's time to retreat from the sun, you still have a view.

So what, pray tell, does life inside Dune House look like? Each 750-square-foot apartment consists of a two-story living area with one bedroom and one bathroom and built-in furnishings designed to fit the space. "I built it like a seashell," Morgan says. "It's a little like being in a submarine. When you go down the stairs, you go along the curved side of the shell to descend into the main living area, which looks out through very large glass doors onto the oceanfront. So you have a sense of being in the dune and looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean."
This dune home seems optimal for entertaining guests.

As for heating and cooling—the first question we had after we stopped staring at the pics—apparently this part of Florida is ideal for this sort of living arrangement because the grass roof assumes the temperature of the ground water there: 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidifiers in each unit control the humidity. Sounds heavenly!
Now, about that buyer: "I think it could be a weekend retreat for someone who lives elsewhere—a seasonal retreat," Morgan says, later adding, "It's very quiet, by the way. You don't hear rain when it's raining, because there's earth that covers the roof and the walls of the house." Thus concludes today's moment of Zen.

Let the world hear about what you have to offer
